In 1986 our company, Parker Manufacturing, successfully developed and marketed, a product called
Impact Headlight Savers. It was about that same time frame, when Clear Bras, made out of urethane, were
introduced as a way to protect painted surfaces from rock chips.  Fascinated by the concept we started to
play with the idea, but kept coming up with the same conclusion; we saw the need for paint protection, but
did not like the idea of something permanent, on our beautifully painted surface.  Bottom line, we asked
and were told by enthusiasts, we like to touch, feel, and show off that polished surface, but we want
protection.  Our commitment turned to a temporary solution that was user friendly, most importantly, paint
and clear coat friendly.  After six years in the lab, and about a dozen generations, we introduced Road
Warrior Plus to the market in 2010.  RWP paint protection is there when you need it, can easily be removed
when you want to clean, wax, and then show off that beautifully painted surface!  Best of all RWP is paint
and clear coat friendly.

When you tell someone that they can safely apply a product to a painted surface, it does not take long
before they become very concerned.  Technically RWP Paint Protection is a "state of the art" aqueous
polymeric copolymer emulsion that develops into a unique breathable protective skin.  Somewhat like a
"liquid" shrink wrap” packaging material.  Our breathable formula is so paint friendly, it can be applied
safely to a newly painted surface that is air cured to the touch.
RWP turns from a "milky" white liquid at application to a clear tough flexible vinyl film when dry.  After
testing different ways to apply RWP, we found two methods, HVLP gun, or roll/brush on works best. A
common question that we get asked, “why not develop an application using an aerosol can”.  Products
that work in Aerosol type applications, consist of a maximum of 15% solids.  RWP’s formula contains 51%
solids. It is those 51% solids, that give RWP the ability to provide protection from rock chips.  RWP is water
based, so application and clean up are easy.  Best of all, RWP is EPA classified as non-hazardous and
requires no special handling when it comes to disposal.

RWP has a broad number of applications when it comes to protecting painted surfaces.  Obvious
applications include automotive, motorcycle, boat trailers, recreational vehicles, ATV’s.  We have custom
painters that apply RWP, prior to shipping, to protect parts from damage during reassembly.  We have
weekend race track enthusiast that race their personal car’s, and need protection against road rash, or the
quarter mile sprint cars drivers, that at the end of the race simply peel off RWP to see that the rear quarter
panel is clean of tar and rubber from burnouts. We have long haul truckers that appreciate the convenience
and safety of not having to use harsh dangerous chemicals to get hardened bugs, tar, and mud off their
rigs. Best of all, RWP is affordable!  Average investment to protect, just the front twelve inches of your
hood, and back of mirrors with a permanent Clear Bra, approximately $300.00 USD, with RWP $2.50 USD.

Since day one, RWP has been involved in an OEM test program that takes place in Florida.  Sponsored by
every major paint and clear coat manufacture in the world, this unique location has every element known to
challenge paint and clear coat surfaces.  From salt water, heat, even acid rain, RWP is the only paint
protection product on the market, to pass these paint/clear coat exposure trials.  We are actively involved in
keeping RWP up to date with the new paint and clear coat technology, so our customers can feel confident
when they apply RWP to their pride and joy.
